Tayvallich
From from the Gaelic Tigh a'Bhealaich which translates as "the house of the pass". A settlement is known to have existed at Tayvallich from at least the 1750's when this would have been a resting place on the track that ran the length of the Knapdale peninsula to the Jura ferry at Keillmore.

Calm Waters.
Tayvallich is set on the shores Loch a'Bhealaich, a sheltered inlet of Loch Sween. It's a popular haven for yachts and a small fishing fleet that still use the bay to land their catch.
