Inverary war memorial.
The memorial was first unveilled in 1922 by the then Duke of Argyll
in memory of the 70 local men who lost their lives in the First World War. 11 more names were added after World War Two. The statue takes the form of a kilted Highland soldier wearing a Tam O'Shanter, standing at ease with his rifle.
