The chapel contains the late 8th century Keills Cross which once stood outside the chapel. It was placed inside the chapel to preserve it along with other decorated stones and grave slabs.

Just some of the 40 or so Medieval grave slabs housed in the chapel. Many depict knights in armour, swords and intricate Celtic patterns.
They date from around 12-1300 AD and in very good condition
considering their age.

The ridge behind the chapel gives good views over towards
the island's of Islay and Jura. A ferry ran from here to Jura
many moons ago but the jetty is now being destroyed by the
sea.
